My Flex Disability are an experienced and quality driven disability services provider that helps support the goals of our clients and helps support independent living.
My Flex Disability is experienced in providing personal support and Home Care for a wide range of clients including children, the elderly, disabled, Veteran’s and consumers requiring private services.
We will unravel the confusion around accessing personal and Home Care support and will be guided by you, your circumstances and goals. Our flexibility and extensive range of services, allows us to offer you the support to meet your needs.
It is vital you feel happy and comfortable with the way your support needs are being met. We will work with you to keep it simple!
Your services will be provided at your preferred day and time wherever needed whether that be in your home or at your workplace.
We can commence your services within 24 hours of request.
Staff can be trained in your home if required to meet your individual needs.
Your preferences are the most important thing to us when setting up your
Your Care Plan will be tailored to your specific needs and goals and we regularly review this to make sure we are meeting your needs.
Our Nurses and Support Workers attending your services are all qualifed in
their roles and have a wealth of experience within the community.
All Staff have up to date flu vaccination along with current Police Clearance, Criminal Record Screening, Working with Children check, First Aid and Manual Handling certificates and all other company compliance’s.
It is our priority for you to have the same Nurses and Support Workers attend your services knowing that developing a compatible relationship and continuity of your care will lead to a more positive outcome.
We randomly undertake spot checks of our workers in the community to ensure full compliance with our company standards and practices.
We are a registered NDIS Provider and comply with Government requirements.
Our Home Care team are only ever a phone call away, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we have a nurse on shift in the community every day of the year.
Our dedicated Community Case Coordinators are mature, experienced and very understanding to discuss any concerns or issues you may have, or any aspect of your services to ensure you are getting the most out of your program.
We liaise closely with your Support Coordinator or person who acts on your behalf.
What is NDIS?
NDIS is a Government Scheme that provides funding to individuals with a significant and permanent disability and are aged under 65. The NDIS is designed to help people with a disability get the support they need to improve their skills and independence for a better life. If you are over 65 with a disability you will be eligible for different Commonwealth support.
WA NDIS has been operating under the State Legislation under provisions in the NDIA Act 2013 and is in the process of rolling out under the National NDIS Scheme . The NDIA (National Disability Insurance Agency) is an independent statutory agency that will role out the NDIS National Scheme.
The NDIS is not linked to the Disability Support Pension.
Who is supported under this Scheme?
If you are under the age of 65 and have either a permanent or significant disability where the disability is likely to be lifelong or has a substantial impact on your ability to complete everyday activities, you can apply for funding under the NDIS.
Our NDIS Services – What kind of supports are funded by NDIS?
The NDIS funds a range of supports and services which may include education, employment, social participation, independence, living arrangements and health and wellbeing.
These supports will help you to:
- Pursue your goals, objectives and aspirations
- Increase your independence
- Increase your community and workplace participation
- Develop your capacity to actively take part in the community.
