We are currently seeking applications for casual Disability Support Workers to join our kind, caring, and compassionate community team who are actively committed to promoting choice, control and quality of life for our clients.
What is involved in this role?

We offer a diverse range of casual shifts that kick off as early as 6am, seven days a week. As a valued member of our team, your mission is to deliver exceptional, person-centered care, elevating the lives of our disability clients within the warmth and familiarity of their own homes.

A Day in the Life:

Providing support to NDIS participants living in the community which involves travelling to multiple clients per day and providing support in their own homes

Your role encompasses a wide spectrum of responsibilities, including providing personal care, assisting our clients with in cooking and meal preparation, domestic tasks, offering dependable transport services, and social support and social assistance, empowering our clients to actively engage in community activities.

Location: You will be matched to clients according to where you live in the Perth, Mandurah or Bunbury area

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Caring and compassionate nature
  • Understanding of disability / mental health support
  • 6 months of disability experience or 3 months experience + Cert III in Individual Support/Ageing/Disability
  • Australian Driver’s licence
  • Reliable motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check*
  • NDIS Orientation
  • Medication Administration
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Current Manual Handling Training
  • Specialised Disability Training in Dysphagia, PEG Feeding, Epilepsy and Seizure Management, Midazolam (desirable)
