What is the cost of the Certificate III courses?

The cost of the CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Home and Community) DUAL QUALIFICATION remains FEE FREE in 2024 (for eligible students)! Students not meeting the eligibility requirements: $2699.00

The cost of the HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in nursing work in acute care) are charged as per the VET Fees and Charges Policy: 

  • Concession: $473.36
  • Non-Concession: $1586.00
  • Secondary Age student: $420.00
  • Students not meeting the eligibility requirements: $2699.00

Do I Need to Complete Work Placement?

Yes, placement is not only a valuable resource providing a wealth of information when it comes to assessments and general education; it is also a compulsory part of your course.

Our Certificate III aged care and healthcare qualifications include 120 hours of work placement, which we organise for you in an approved facility.  You will be assessed for your practical, on-the-job performance. What is the duration of the Perth CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support?

  • 10 weeks of face-to-face classroom (Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri) 9am-4pm, followed by a self-study period with our dedicated tutor support.
  • Plus 120 hours of work placement (to be completed over a minimum of 3 weeks) We organise all this for you!

What is the duration of the HLT33115 Cert III in Health Services Assistance?

  • Full-time: 10 weeks of face-to-face classroom (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs) 9am-4pm, followed by a self-study period with our dedicated tutor support. Plus 120 hours of work placement (to be completed over a minimum of 3 weeks) We organise all this for you!
  • Part-time: 16 weeks of face-to-face classroom (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs) 5pm-9pm followed by a self-study period with our dedicated tutor support. Plus 120 hours of work placement which we organise for you!

Will I be guaranteed a job upon graduating?

Jobs cannot be guaranteed, however My Flex Training Aged Care and healthcare students are high in demand in this current skills shortage climate. Do you organise my practical?

We do!

All our candidates are placed at excellent and accredited aged care facilities and have to complete a minimum of 120 hours of work placement. My Flex Training has agreements in place with various facilities around Perth Metro, Mandurah and Bunbury to facilitate 5-6 weeks of full time work placement for every student. Students wishing to extend their work placement over a longer duration attending part time may do so by facility approval and arrangement.

You are visited by your nominated trainer and assessor to assess your skills in the workplace.

What are the contact hours?

Can I do my work experience part-time?

You can! There is a minimum of three (3) days a week and the hours would be 7am-3pm.

What visa do I have to be on to be able to study?

We are not CRICOS certified and therefore do not take international students/ VISA 500.

Do you offer Payment Plans for your Certificate III courses?

Yes we do!

Financial Help

Do you offer Credit Transfer?

We sure do! All you need to do is bring an original copy of your statement of attainment for the units you have completed that relate to the qualification.
